Illinois Democracy Project: Press Room Welcome. We strive for total transparency at this site. Every document the project has, every memo sent to project members, everything we are doing or planning to do will be as apparent to you as it is to Democracy Project participants. We send updates to Show Us Amendment supporters regularly. If you would like to receive these messages, just email us a note to campaign@showus.org. Let us know where you are and what news organization you represent. We will keep you fully informed! If you have specific questions about the Democracy Project or would like to set up an interview, use the same email address as above to contact us. If you are on deadline, you can call 217 522-7767 (weekdays 8:30 to 4 p.m.) and we will try to put you in touch with someone who can speak for the campaign as quickly as possible. Show Us Amendment advocates feel we are involved in an activity of historic importance. We also regocnize fully that history is rarely made without a free flow of information from the news media to the citizens who rely on them for that information.
